Villa on Rua Consiglieri Pedroso, Sintra
From the Church of San Martino, you can walk along the Rua Consiglieri Pedroso.
Here you can see a beautiful Villa of the 19th century, decorated with ceramic panels (on the map).

As you can see, the Villa is for sale. I noticed several similar ads in Sintra, and I was struck by the absolutely fantastic prices shown on some of them. For example, for one two-story house, they asked for only 60 thousand euros.

To the right of the Villa is the house-Museum of Ferreira de Castro (Jose Maria Ferreira de Castro, 1898-1974), the largest Portuguese writer of the XX century (Museu Ferreira De Castro on the map).
