Tidebris, high-speed catamaran in Haugesund

From 2007 to 2013, Norled's Bergen-Haugesund-Stavanger (Flaggruten) high-speed line was served by the catamaran Tidebris, built in 2002 at the Båtservice Mandal shipyard. The ship was originally named Vindafjord and was owned by the Torghatten Traffic Company and operated by linni Stavanger-Sand Sauda.

The vessel is 27 meters long and 9 meters wide, built of aluminum alloy, has a displacement of 224 tons and can accommodate 180 passengers.

Two engines with a capacity of 1400 HP allow you to reach speeds of up to 32 knots.

In December 2013, unable to compete with buses, the Flaggruten line was closed and the catamaran was put up for sale. In 2015, the ship was acquired by the German company North Frisian Offshore 2, where it received the new name Seewind 2. Now the catamaran is named Aigues de Formentera and operates in Spain on the Ibiza-Formentera line.
