Pride Parade in Copenhagen
When I reached the RĂ„dhuspladsen, I found that there was a mass event going on. An already eventful day completely "killed" the battery in the camera and it was enough for a few frames, the rest had to be shot on the phone.
There was a large stage in the center of the square, surrounded by a dense crowd, and someone was performing on it. At first, I thought I was on a citywide holiday, and the rainbow flags on the stage didn't mean anything to me, I just didn't know what they meant.
Along the edges of the concert venue people sat in small groups right on the pavement and calmly communicated.
In one place, music was blaring, and there was an improvised dance floor.
Young people excitedly danced rock and roll.
Occasionally there were such characters, but there were very few of them among the thousands of normally dressed people.
Two hours ago, I saw a party of people in national costumes in Churchill Park, so the people dressed in such a strange way on the town hall square did not surprise me either.
Many companies were sitting with beer and stronger spirits, but I didn't see any drunks.
Only in the evening at the hotel I learned from the Internet that this event is called a "pride parade", which is held by representatives of sexual minorities.
Although such gatherings in the minds of the Russian Philistine are associated with Sodom and Gomorrah and other horrors, apart from this kiss, I did not see any obscenities.
Surprisingly, in such a huge crowd of people, I saw absolutely no law enforcement forces, except for such mummers "policemen".
LGBT parades are held in Copenhagen every August. Today it was attended by about 20 thousand people. Not much for a city of millions, especially since most of the participants came from all over the World. In general, I got the impression that the majority of people came here just to have fun and chat.
