The February Snowfall. Moscow-Yekaterinburg, Aeroflot

Arriving from sunny Barcelona to Sheremetyevo, I found myself in the midst of the famous 2018 snowfall. The plane landed with a delay of half an hour, then we were driven for a long time through a snow-covered field, then there were misunderstandings with the flight to Yekaterinburg. The boarding area was changed three times, and then I had to stand at the exit for more than an hour waiting for the Aeroflot employees to show up. There was no information about the delay of my flight, the passengers tried in vain to find out something from the girls at the next exit. Finally, the landing began, and I found myself on board, and again in a good place..

The ramp pulled away, and the plane started the engines and started moving, but about two more hours passed before takeoff. First, we stood in line for antifreeze treatment, then in line for takeoff, which was in two rows. When the runway was already very close, the crew announced that it was necessary to return for re-treatment with antifreeze, as the allowed time had expired. A dull, dissatisfied hum began in the cabin, but to everyone's surprise, the plane immediately taxied onto the runway and immediately took off. It remains only to express gratitude to the pilots for their brave decision, so half an hour later the airport was closed for almost a day..

Literally a minute after we left the ground, the last one disappeared from sight and we found ourselves in a gloomy fog in which it was impossible to see the wing tip. Twenty minutes passed, but the sky did not appear, and I began to feel uneasy. But when I turned on the GPS navigator in my smartphone, I was surprised to see that we were flying at an altitude of 8,900 meters. I have never had to fly in such dense clouds at high altitude. Over Bashkiria, the plane emerged from the milk, and the ground appeared below, covered with clouds.

On the border of the Sverdlovsk and Perm regions, the clouds disappeared completely, and our plane began to descend.
