Paseo Blas Infante, Ronda

A balcony running around the Parador Hotel leads to a park built along the cliff in 1906 along with the hotel. At that time it was called English, since the hotel's guests were mostly Englishmen from Gibraltar who made trips to the mountains on the Algeciras-Ronda railway line. Now he is named after the Andalusian politician, writer and musicologist Blas Infante. Infante made a great contribution to the formation of the autonomy of Andalusia and is the author of the text of the anthem of Andalusia, for which we are popularly called "the father of the Andalusian Homeland". In August 1936 , he was arrested by members of the nationalist Falange Española and shot without trial.

There are several monuments to famous people connected with the Ronda in one way or another. Ernest Hemingway stayed here in the summer of 1959 and firmly wrote Ronda in the history of literature with his novel For Whom the Bell Tolls.

Monument to the American writer and film director Orson Welles, who gained worldwide fame thanks to such films as "Citizen Kane" and "Macbeth". Wells lived in Spain for a long time and was forever imbued with the spirit of this country. An avid bullfighter, he often attended bullfights in the Rhondda and had friends among the local bullfighters. According to his will, his ashes were buried in Rhondda in 1987.

An Alley of Bullfighters leads through the park from the Bullring to the observation deck. The first memorial plaque is dedicated to the legendary Pedro Romero (1754-1839), who became famous for his unique technique, exceptional courage and calmness.

Cayetano Ordóñez (1904 - 1961), better known as Nino de la Palma. His father owned a general store in Rhondda called La Palma, hence the nickname, which translates as "Child of the Palm". He is known for climbing over the fence and taking part in a bullfight in Seville in 1921. A year later, he made his debut as a professional bullfighter. In 1954, Ordonez organized a bullfight in honor of the bicentennial of Pedro Romero.
