Hostal La Nava, Madrid
Finally, our plane comes in to land at Barajas airport, and the four towers of Madrid's business center are visible against the backdrop of mountains. After collecting my Luggage and buying my ticket at the vending machine, I took the metro to the city center, to my first hotel, La Nava, located on Alcala street, a block from the Manuel Becerra metro station. The establishment occupies two floors in the entrance of an ordinary residential building, in fact represents redeveloped apartments. The kind senorita scanned my passport without any questions and accepted payment by card, after which she gave me a set of keys to the entrance, floor and number (all the keys were different colors - you can not confuse them) - escorted me to my apartment. The room was tiny, but it had everything you need to live in-air conditioning, bathroom, TV.
The view from the window, of course, did not please the eye, but the room was completely quiet, which can not boast of rooms facing the busy Alcala street.
After dropping off my things, I immediately went to Retiro Park, where the finish line of today's race was locatedThe Madrid Rock and Roll marathon.
