The main portal of the temple opens on the square of Largo da Carmo. Now through it you can get to the archaeological Museum, located in the ruined monastery.

Across from the ruins of the monastery Church, my attention was drawn to a house with sewers on the exterior walls. This is the first time I have seen such an original solution. From a practical point of view, it did not seem quite successful to me - industrial climbers are needed to eliminate the blockage.

It seems that this building is photographed as often as the monastery.
