Sorrento. Pasqetta's picnic on the beach of Marina Grande

Going to Sorrento on Monday after Easter, I was somewhat surprised by the crowd at the station. After Centrale station (I went from Porta Nolana station) in the wagon was not free places, and after a couple of stops the train was crowded. I completely lost sight of, what this day in Italy also is festive and has the name "Pasquetta". This day the Italians traditionally spend in active recreation, and rather far off from home. Usually, It's trips to nature, the mountains, the sea, visiting historical sites. Typically, these trips are with a large group of friends - according to the Italian proverb: " Easter with my family, and Pasquetta — with friends."
