Bamberg. Obstmarktplatz (Fruit market square)

The Untere Brücke and Obere Brücke bridges lead to the small triangular Obstmarktplatz, surrounded by 17th-and 18th-century houses (on the map).

The name of the square speaks for itself - in the old days there was a fruit market here. Now in the center of the square there is a swimming pool with small fountains.

There are several popular cafes and restaurants in the square: the Café Zeis restaurant, famous for its musical evenings, the Cador coffee bar and Cafe del Corso, where you can taste original ice cream varieties.
