Seaport museum
Acquainted with a fishing quarter Serallo I back to promenade moll de La Costa. In the rays of the rising Sun all around has become a golden hue, and appeared the morning runners on the boardwalk.
In one of the former port warehouses, built along the waterfront, take seats the Museum of history (Museu del Port de Tarragona map), it was opened in 2000. The Museum exposition tells about the life of the port from the moment the Romans landed here and now. In 2003, the Museum was included lighthouse Bana (Faro de la BaƱa map), in a room which has a collection of marine signaling equipment of different epochs.
The Museum Building is surrounded by samples of old port facilities and fleet, such as this barge with a lifting boom - hulk.
Behind the Museum building you can see old port cranes and railway transport..
the Museum is open daily in the morning for 10 to 14 hours and in the afternoon 16 to 19 hours, in summer from 17 to 20. On holidays and Sundays from 11 to 14 hours. Also on 16 July and 25 December. The cost is 2 euros. Unfortunately, to visit the Museum there was no way.
