Monumento a Santa Teresa Jornet, Valencia

On St. Monica's Square (Plaza de Santa Monica), in front of the church of the same name, there is a monument to Teresa Hornet, the founder of the Congregation of Sisters of the Elderly. The marble sculpture by Manuel Silvestre, installed in 1974, depicts Saint Teresa, who helps those in need.
