Morning in Montijo

After exploring the surrounding area of Lisbon, we arrived in hotel on the left Bank of the Tagus, in the small town of Montijo. The next morning, after getting up very early, I went for a walk in the garden before Breakfast empty streets.

A few blocks later, I found myself on the Quai de La Miguel Pais (Rue Miguel Pais).

Бульвар Мигеля Паиша заканчивается старым речным вокзалом. По опорам пирса видно, что сейчас уровень воды метра на четыре ниже максимального. Этот причал давно не используется, паромы с Кайш-ду-Содре швартуются ближе к руслу реки, где глубины позволяют проходить в отлив.
