Maritime Hall in San Martino Museum, Naples

In 1866, the Carthusian Monastery of St. Martin in Naples was nationalized and declared a national monument. At the suggestion of the archaeologist Giuseppe Fiorelli, the territory of the monastery became a museum of the history of Naples and the southern Kingdoms. One of the sections of the museum is devoted to marine themes.
