Buen Retiro Park. Annular channel

To the South of the Crystal Palace, there is a quiet corner where tourists do not usually wander.

This is an artificial reservoir, which is a channel that encircles the island in the form of an elongated oval.

There are two wooden bridges on the island.

The banks of the canal are reinforced with stone parapets and decorated with tuff boulders.

The place is quiet and very picturesque.

The tourist, of course, does not know about it, but the locals are happy to spend time here on weekends.
