Night Madrid. Plaza de Cibeles

Cibeles square (Plaza de Cibeles on the map) is probably the most beautiful not only in Madrid, but also in the whole world.

The Palace of communication, formerly the Central post office, now the residence of the mayor of Madrid and the municipal exhibition complex.

The lighting of the building changes every year, becoming more complex, and now the Palace of communication looks even more attractive in the dark.

The fountain in the center of the square is named after the goddess of fertility Cybele (in Spanish it sounds like Cibeles).
