Evening on Calle del Arenal
From Plaza Puerto del Sol, I headed West along Arenal street.
The street passes through an area where Christians lived during the Moorish rule.
Now here you can find a lot of shops, mainly Shoe stores, and several popular cafes and patisseries.
The modern development of the street dates back to the beginning of the twentieth century, there are many buildings in the "art Nouveau"style.
Церковь святого Хинеса (Iglesia de San Ginés de Arlés), одна из старейших в Мадриде, первое упоминание о ней относится к 1156 году.
The monastery of Barefoot Princesses (Monasterio de las Descalzas Reales), behind it you can see the tower of the building "Adrika" with a cross, on the right a hypermarket of electronics, multimedia and FNAC books.
Plaza de Isabel II and Teatro Real.
Then I turned to the Plaza de La Encarnación with the Lope de VEGA monument.
and the Augustinian monastery of the Incarnation (Convento de la Encarnacion).
The Building Of The Senate Of Spain.
In the mirror Windows of which the post-sunset sky is reflected.
Finally, I came to the Plaza de Espana, the main goal of my evening walk.
