Chemin de la Corniche, Luxembourg
Luxembourg residents claim that this footpath is the most beautiful balcony in Europe. That's what Luxembourg writer Betty Weber called this place. The trail runs along the crest of fortifications built in the 17th century by the Spaniards and the French. Its name translates as "The path along the ledge." In 1890, most of the battlements were demolished to open up a wonderful view of the L'alzette Valley, the Lower Town (Grund) and the Plateau du Rham.
