Çırağan Caddesi
From Besiktas Square, I continued my way along the street, named after the late Ottoman palace, which now houses the fashionable Ciragan Palace Kempinski 5* hotel. The length of the street is more than one and a half kilometers, it stretches to Ortakoy and most of it passes under the dense crowns of old poplars. In addition to the palace, there are several important objects on the street: the Besiktas District Administration Building, the old courthouse, which now belongs to Sultan Mehmet University, the Bahçeşehir University campus, the Atik Pasha Palace, now the Four Seasons Hotel, the Besiktas Anatolian Secondary School, the Zia Kalkavan Anatolian Vocational High School, Galatasaray University and Kabatash Men's Secondary school. Most of the left side of the street runs along Yıldız Parkı, with the Besiktas police Station and Küçük Mecidiye Camii Mosque located at the entrance. I will describe some of them in detail in the following articles.
