Views from monastery terraces of Aragonese castle
Acquainted with grim details of monastic life, I get out of the cave to the monastery of Belvedere (Brlvedere del convento on the map)
which offers a stunning panoramic view of the Eastern part of the island.
the highest point of the island - dormant volcano, Monte Epomeo, the height of 788 meters. Near the top is Saint Nicholas Church, and at the top is a small viewpoint, where can be seen most of the island. On Monte Epomeo laid Hiking trail there is a restaurant and small hotel.
Looking left you can see the Torre di Guevara, better known as Tower of Michelangelo.
