Old Town Hall and Around

The Kapuzinerstrasse led us to the embankment Am Kranen, which literally means "under the cranes". The cargo port has long been moved from the city center to an industrial zone, and now recreational motor ships are moored here. Buying a ticket for 13 euros, you will take an exciting 80-minute boat trip to the confluence of Regnitz and Main, see the river port and admire the Bishop's hill and the ancient buildings facing directly to the water. For this reason, Bamberg is sometimes called the "German Venice".
