Colmar

Colmar has a reputation as the wine capital of Alsace, it is located in the middle of the tourist route known as the Wine Road (La Route des Vins d'Alsace). In addition, these are some of the most beautiful small towns in France, the old part of which is built up with half-timbered houses of the 17th century and preserved the appearance of that epoch. The picturesque quarter located on the banks of the Lauch River is known as Little Venice (La Petite Venise).
