Plasa de la Olivera, Castellon de La Plana

To the North-East of Ribalta Park is locatedOlive tree square (Plasa de la Olivera on the map). In addition to the huge old olive tree, it is notable for a couple of monuments. A metal cube bearing the name Dados (dice) is the work of Blas Jovells Igual. The structure was installed in 2004 for a purely practical purpose - to hide cabinets of electrical networks and communications. The idea was put forward by josé Esparducer, chief urban engineer.

Sculpture En homenatge als dolçainers i tabaleters (a Tribute to the flute and the drum) it is dedicated to traditional characters of city holidays and was opened in 2006.
