Church of the Pure Blood, Castellon de la Plana
The facade of the church of the Most Pure Blood (Iglesia de la Purísima Sangre), built in 1729-1731 in the Baroque style, faces Maria Agustina Square. Previously, there was a chapel on this site, which is mentioned in documents from 1565.
During the anarchy of the Civil War, the church was looted and burned, later restored in neo-Baroque style.
